All around Lake Faak, activity is the order of the day: surfing, sailing and canoeing as well as rowing, electric- or pedal-boating. If you prefer it quieter, glide gently across the lake or simply enjoy the view over the water to the peaks.
The region has plenty to offer on land, too: Carinthia boasts one of the densest cycle-path networks in Austria – from the flat mountain-bike loop around Lake Faak to challenging climbs. Hikers can set off straight away: the Mittagskogel rises just behind the hotel, and the Lake Faak circular walking trail leads all the way around the shore.
